Restaurant and Art Gallery -
Avenida 11,
Calles 3 bis y cinco, casa

Phone: 506 223 1422
Located in one of the most attractive zones in the city, this small

In Los Cuatro Gatos (the four cats), prevails a

and red
meats, complimented with delicious fruit juices, different types of
coffee
and exquisite desserts.

Los Molcajetes - Great
Variety of Dishes -
350 metros al sur de la Toyota,
Paseo Colón, San
José
In Mexican jargon, a molcajete is a mortar to crush herbs and spices. This
is the way that this
establishment evokes its traditional Aztec cuisine,
to offer its guests,
in a cordial atmosphere, their wonderful dishes.
As a family enterprise,
dad, mom and children all take care to make you
feel at ease with their
attentions. You will find all sort of specialties, from
the traditional
tacos, to the superb cochinita pibil. Sundays are ideal for
family and
children since they open at 8am.

Mirador Rancho Redondo - Dine
With the City at your Feet
Al pie del mirador de Rancho
Redondo, Goicoechea, San José
Phone: 506 292 3795
If this is one of those days when you want to run away from it all,
noise,
crowds and routine, this is the perfect place. Choose a clear and
dark
night, since the view of the city by night is just breathtaking. Come
as
a couple, as the atmosphere is quite romantic and very cozy, with
candles on the table, panoramic windows, and lots of wood.
A
large stone chimney keeps the place warm and invites intimate and
soft
conversations. The menu is typical Costarrican food, and you can
choose
from gallitos (small tortillas topped with assorted meats, cheese
or picadillos), grilled meats, chicken and fish. Sensational!
