Costa Ricas’
Enchanting Mountain Villages
The Mountain Village of Grecia

There are many things that are wonderful about Grecia, a
pleasant little farming town in the central
highlands of
Costa Rica.

Grecia
is known for its unique landmark... in the center, the
dark red painted Gothic church... that was made of
prefabricated metal pieces that were brought
in from Belgium
in the 1890s.

Grecia has received the distinction of being
the
cleanest town
in Latin America (indeed it is a very tidy town). House
Rentals are still at Tico Prices!
No inflated prices for Gringos!
The
village of Grecia got it's name... from the many
Greek
Columns and Architectural
styles that were brought
from Greece.

And finally, Grecia is an important agricultural center,
especially
for sugar cane, organic coffee and pineapples.

Grecia has one of the best climates in the world.
Fresh,
cool and breezy.
