"EL Quetzal" Legends of the
Great Mayan & Aztec Civilizations

Some Archaeologists conceive, that the wearing of
"Emerald
Green" Resplendent Quetzal feathers, was worn
only,
by
great Mayan
Warrior Chiefs and Mayan Priests. An authority
symbol
of power, vested in the leaders of God,
similar to the
Roman Catholic nobility,
who wore purple silk robes, to symbolize
their power.
The great Aztec God,
Quetzalcoatl, whose name
means
"Plumed Serpent",
is legendary, he was the creator of
the
human race and he taught them, how
to "mine" metals, such
as "gold" and "silver", teaching them the
uses of metals, and
how to create artistic jewelry and art
pieces for their
kingdom.
He also showed them how to "mine" for
precious gems, such
as jade and emeralds,
and taught them agriculture and
cultivation of the land.
He taught them how to build great
cities, and
pyramid temples and aquatic waterways to
replenish and house
their people.

The Legendary Feathered Serpent
God,
Quetzalcoatl, was historically involved in
the creation and destruction, of the
Four Suns, a
succession
of eras and worlds, each with
its
own
distinct
life forms.

At the ending of the Fourth Sun,
the Aztec God, Quetzalcoatl,
and his people, were
forced to flee from the city of Cholula,
and went to Tlapallan. "
It was recorded in historical legends,
that the God, Quetzalcoatl, then set off
for the sea, in a rapid "exodus".
When he reached the sea,
he created a
boat raft of serpents.
Some have called it a "Sun Boat", it
must have been very
unusual, to have been preserved in history.
After creating the
boat of serpents, it is said, that he
made his way across the ocean, and was
never seen again.

The Aztec God's name, "Quetzalcoatl",
literally means
"Quetzal bird Snake" or "Serpent with
Feathers of the
Quetzal",
(which connotes him, as being divine, godly
and
precious), in the Nahuatl Indian
language.
In
other South and Central American Indian languages,
the meaning is and was, much the same.
The ancient Mayans
knew him as Kukulk, and the Quiche
Indian Tribes, knew
him
as Gukumatz.
The Feathered Serpent God, was
depicted in all of the
ancient art
and religion, in South and Central
America,
including in Costa Rica, with the Nahuatl,
Chorotega and
Bri Bri Indian tribes, who for many
generations, created
sculptures of a "Serpent Race", and
tell of secret
underground passage ways, to other faraway
lands and dimensional worlds.

The art of the Bri Bri
Tribes, in Costa Rica, is especially fascinating, where
they depict many Gods with wings, flying
in the air, in acts of creation.

A number of unusual gold ornaments
from Colombia,
Costa Rica, Peru and Venezuela, have been
interpreted
by some Archaeologists, as model airplanes,
after Ivan T. Sanderson, (1911 - 1973), head of the
Society for the
Investigation of the Unexplained, in the United States, saw
a
reproduction of a Colombian example.

The gold reproduction, that
caught Sanderson's attention,
was only 5 cm long and had been
made, to hang from a necklace. The top
end, (which Sanderson identified, as
the tail fin, of the airplane), had a mark
on one side,
that he thought, resembled an early Hebrew
letter "beth".
The original gold pendants, are of Chimú
origin and are
classed as zoömorphic, with the majority,
resembling winged insects, bee gods, birds, bats and sting
rays. The Chimú (or Mochica) culture, flourished in South America,
between about
200 BCE and 800 BC.
Many Aeronautic Engineers, have studied these
pendants,
and believe them to be models of Alien
Technology
Airplanes, from thousands of years ago, when the
Anunnaki,
ruled the Earth. Could these have been
"Sun Boats" ?
The Feathered Serpent God, was depicted, for as
long as
2,000
years, until
the end of the Spanish Conquest, when
he was recorded in history, as fleeing
across the ocean,
in his serpent boat, (or Sun Boat), and
was never seen
again.
The ancient great Civilizations who worshipped the
Feathered Serpent
God,
included
the Olmec, the Mixtec,
the Toltec, the
Aztec, and
the Maya.

The worship of the Aztec God, Quetzalcoatl, sometimes
included
human sacrifices, although in other
traditions, Quetzalcoatl,
was said to oppose human sacrifice.

The Feathered Serpent God, Quetzalcoatl, was often
recorded,
as the God of the Morning
Star and his twin brother,
Xolotl, was the God of the Evening
Star (Venus).
As the Morning Star,
Quetzalcoatl, was
known as
Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, which means
literally,
"the lord of the
star
of the dawn".
The Feathered Serpent God, Quetzalcoatl, was
recorded, as
the inventor of books and the calendar,
the giver of maize
corn to mankind,
and
sometimes as a symbol, of death
and resurrection. Quetzalcoatl, was also
the Patron of the
Priests and was recorded as the Aztec High
Priest.
South and Central American beliefs, include
Cycles of
Worlds.
Our current time, was and is, considered
the
fifth world, (or
the Fifth Sun),
the previous four worlds, having been
destroyed
by
flood, fire and natural cycle disasters, or Earth
Armageddon's.

The Feathered Serpent God,
Quetzalcoatl, was recorded as
having gone
to Mictlan, the Underworld, where he created
the
Fifth World, (Mankind Now), from the bones of
the
previous races, (with the help of
Cihuacoatl), using his
own blood, to imbue the bones,
with new life.
Quetzalcoatl's birth, along with his twin
Xolotl, was unusual.
It
was
a recorded as a Virgin Birth, born to the
Goddess
Coatlicue.
Alternatively,
he was a son of Xochiquetzal and
Mixcoatl.
One Aztec Legend,
claims that Quetzalcoatl, was seduced
by
Tezcatlipoca, but then he
burned himself to death, out
of
remorse. His heart, became
the Morning
Star.
