Mount
Chirripo
"Place of Eternal Waters"

The "trade routes" over these mountains, near
the mysterious
Chirippo Mountain Peak in the Talamanca Mountain
Range,
(which derives from an Indian word
that means, "place of
eternal waters", it has several natural springs
with waterfalls). Chirripo National Park is
an enchanting and awesome
expanse of rugged peaks and rock
formations, it has an
immense valley with Glacial Lakes, it is
a place that will
touch the soul of anyone who ascends
it's towering heights.

Mount Chirripo

Springs and Waterfalls of
Chirripo

Springs and Waterfalls of
Chirripo
Chirripó National Park lies towards the
northern end of one
of the most important biological zones
of all Central America.
It adjoins La Amistad International Park,
which covers almost
all of the Talamanca mountain range and,
together with
adjacent reserves, includes over a million
hectares and spans
major sections of northern Costa Rica and
southern Panama.
The grouping has been designated one of
the "biological hot
spots" of the Meso-American Biological Corridor.
Home to the
magical Resplendent Green Quetzal Birds, of
ancient history and to the great Jaguars.
Chirripó National Park is located in
the heart o f the
Talamanca Mountain Range, which was formed
by various
geologic processes, including tectonic movement
and igneous
activity.
Costa Rica and Panama... are of far more
recent geologic
origin than the countries to the north
and south. These two countries, lie at
the boundary where the Pacific's Cocos
plate ,
a piece of the earth's crust some 510
km wide, meets the
crustal plate... underlying the Caribbean.
The two are converging as the Cocos Plate
moves east at
a rate of about four inches a year.
It is a classic subduction
zone, in which the heavier Cocos, is
forced under the
Caribbean plate , and one of the most
dynamic junctures
on earth.
As these
two chunks of crustal material collided, the
rocks
of the Cocos plate were pushed
downward, subjecting
them to increased heat and pressure,
that eventually turned
them into molten rock under great
pressure. Because the
downward thrust was at an angle to
the east, when the
pressure build-up, finally became too much
and the lava
and steam moved back upward towards
the surface, they
did so, beneath the western edge of
the Caribbean plate.
The result was undersea volcanic eruptions.
As layer after
layer of cooled volcanic material collected,
the peaks finally
emerged above the ocean's surface, 40-50
million years ago.
In this manner, an arc of volcanic
islands formed in a line
parallel to and east of the zone
of contact between the
two plates.
Millennia passed and eruptions continued to
throw more
material down the slopes of the rising
volcanoes. The land
area filled in around their bases, until as
recently as three
million years ago the uninterrupted land bridge, present-day
Costa Rica and Panama, was completed between
northern
Central America and South America, giving
rise to
movements of plant and animal species
both north (birds)
and southwards (mammals).
This recent land connection to two
great continents, as well
as the wide range of altitudes and
climates, are in large part
responsible for the incredibly high
biodiversity to be found in
an area as small as Costa Rica.
Rock formations on the summit of the
Chirripó massif indicate
that some 25,000 years ago, the
extinct volcanic arc of the
Talamancan mountain range, where it never snows, was
covered
by glacial ice.

This glacier formed during the last of
the Great Ice Ages,
when much of the northern hemisphere, was
also beneath
ice, although the Chirripó glacier... was
not connected to
those glaciers. A dozen or more small
glacial lakes, piles
of rounded rocks (moraines), striations on
rock beds, and
U-shaped valleys... are all mute testimony,
to the existence
of the former ice cover. The last
glaciers retreated from
this area only about 10,000 years ago.
The highlands
represent the most complete evolution of
the Talamanca Mountain Range's geologic
characteristics.
The relief forms and the lithic
materials here reveal the
region's geologic history, while the presence
of basaltic
and andesitic rocks and tuffs provide
evidence of prior
igneous activity. The area is not
actively volcanic, but hot
springs near San Gerardo de Rivas, hint
at the cauldron
below. Earth tremors are frequent.
A cloud forest is a rain forest
without the deluges. It
is a highland forest characterized by
nearly 100% humidity
throughout the year. Clouds are
constantly drifting through
the valleys and treetops.
The forest gathers water through evapo-transpiration,
the accumulation of water vapors on
the floor of the cloud
forest and in the aerial plants known
as epiphytes. The
foliage harbors a wide diversity of
epiphytes.
Some, like "old man's beard" (the lichen
usnea), draped
on branches and vines, act as a huge
net to capture
moisture. Tree trunks are almost always
covered with
mosses, bromeliads, ferns, and other plants.
Intact cloud forests play an extremely
important role in
the hydrology of certain regions of
the planet; they
capture, store, and filter water that
feeds into local
communities and large rivers hundreds of
miles away.
The forests of the Neotropics, are the
habitat for tens of
thousands of plant and wildlife species...
most of which
have yet to be identified by
scientists or seen by humans.
Advance reservations are required to enter
Chirripó National
Park ($12 per day includes park fees
and rustic lodging at
the base camp). To make reservations, call
the park office
at (506) 771-3155. The park service
recommends... making reservations at least three
months in advance, even earlier
for trips during dry season, from December
to March.
And the roads near Volcano
Irazu, and Volcano Turrialba,
were often deadly... the traders,
transporting their farm
goods over the mountain pass...
would often
"freeze to death",
on the mountain tops. This
entailed a three or four day
journey, on foot, cart or on
horseback,
and
meant spending
at least two nights...
in the cold and
often rainy highlands.

There Seems to be a Strange
OVNI Above
The Old Ujarras Church, in this ancient photo...
Many were ill-prepared for the inclement
weather and if they
did not succumb to
hypothermia on the spot, they perished...
from complications such
as
pneumonia, later on.

(Cerro)
Its name also means "the powerful spirit". It was
originally
given… by the Cabecar Indian tribes.
The shamans claim…
the peak brings them powerful dreams…
where they can
communicate with the other worlds and receive profound
messages for their people.
These "ethereal ghost spirit routes, which "follow relatively
straight lines"
despite the difficult terrain,
have been examined
at
ground level... and
have been dated to AD 500 -1200.
Investigators discovered that the paths are
"death roads",
and are still used... for
carrying corpses to
burial, and also
for transporting "laja", volcanic stone,
used
in the construction
of tombs and cemetery
walls.

The Dominical, Ballena
and Golfito Coastlines
Home to Creatures of the Deep...

The "Cerro de Muerte" Mountain pass, leads over the mountains
to the Pacific Coast, where there are also
many UFO sightings
over the coastal beaches of Dominical,
Ballena, and Golfito, in
Drake Bay. Could it be that the
UFO's are attracted to a
magnificent "oceanic event"? The
migration of the great
whales of the world... to Drake Bay... in
Costa Rica.

The Pacific Ocean side of Costa Rica, in the waters
surrounding Drake
Bay, is one of the best places in the
world to experience dolphins
and whales... in their natural
habitat. Over 25 different species of dolphins and whales
either migrate through or make Costa Rica
their home.
Costa Rica has the longest season of humpback whales, in
the world. It's because Costa Rica has Whale
Migrations,
from both North and South America. This oceanic event,
happens
nowhere else on the planet.
The Humpback
Whales migrate
from 2 different hemispheres,
to the same place, to have
their babies and mate.
The Southern Humpback Whales, come from as far as the
Antarctica, 11,500 miles away! It is one of the
longest
migrations, known to mankind. The Humpback
Whales arrive
in late July and remain in Costa Rica waters, through early November.

Here, in this "Whale Fiesta", they will
meet their beloved
mate, they will sing their Whale Songs...
and start a little
family.
The Northern Humpback Whales, arrive in late October,
and
remain in Costa Rica, until the end of April.
When the Humpback Whales, from both hemispheres, meet
in
Costa Rica, especially around the time of October and
November,
you can experience a "one of a kind" oceanic
event, that happens
nowhere else in the world.
You can experience being up and close, to these Giants of
the
Sea, and marvel at the interactions between the two
different cultures of Humpback Whales.
The symphony of
different
Whale Songs is magnificent!
Humpback Whales, are the only whales, that sing and
communicate with long and complex songs. They can be
heard, by using a hydrophone, and even when you are in
the
water.
The whales from each hemisphere, have their own personalized
songs of love. The Humpback whales produce the
longest and
most varied songs in the animal world, and include
recognizable
sequences of squeaks, grunts and other hauntingly beautiful
sounds.

They produce a new song each year, containing parts from
the
previous year. Over the years, the original song is
completely
changed and becomes a new song.
Researchers believe that Humpback whale songs,
are complex
messages, to other whales, that can be heard, for up to 1,000
miles. Only the males have been recorded singing, and
they
sing their complex songs, only in the warm embryonic waters
of Costa
Rica.
In their cold feeding waters, they make rougher sounds,
scrapes
and groans, probably for locating large masses
of krill.
After their long journey to Drake
Bay, pregnant mother
whales give birth, in
surprisingly shallow waters, near the
coast
of
Cano Island. The baby whale calves, are about
4
meters long
and weigh about 4,000 pounds at
birth.
A baby Humpback, drinks more milk
in one day, than a
human baby does, in one
year. They gain up to 200
pounds per day!
The moms and their new babies, will then spend
the next
4 months here, sometimes traveling with a male escort whale,
which may or may not
be the father.
During their stay in Costa Rica, the mothers will teach
their new
babies to breach, (jumping full body, out of the
water) and to
swim in all kinds of weather. The mom
and baby
will stay
together, for about a year, finally
separating in the
feeding
waters, when the baby is about
8 to 10 meters in
length.
The babies, while in Costa Rica, only drink mother's milk.
Humpback whales do not feed in Costa Rica
waters. The
adult whales, subsist on their own blubber,
during the mating
and breeding season.
On rare occasions, some have been
spotted... feeding on
sardines
and krill, when the opportunity is there. By the
time
the
Humpback whales are leaving for their
winter feeding
waters, they are very thin, with
bones sticking out, from their
tail sections.
While the Humpback whales are in Costa Rica, you
can observe
them, jumping full body, out of the water
and
tail slapping.
The male Humpback whales, use this
behavior, along with their
complex whale songs, to
attract a mate.

Their courtship can be very passionate and
appear to
be
aggressive, it involves lively rituals of high speed
chasing,
pectoral and tail slapping, head lunges and
jumping full body
out of the water. And of course, their
haunting love songs.
Humpback whales can dive to a depth of 700 feet, and
can
stay under water, for as long as 50 minutes. The
females
are a little larger than the males and are about
15
to 17 meters
long. Humpback whales have a longevity
of
45 to 50 years.
Researchers estimate, that there are
over 10,000 to 15,000
Humpback whales on the entire planet, and they
are an endangered species. Costa Rica actively protects all the
dolphin and whale populations, in it's sea
boundaries.
Why do the whales choose Costa Rica?
It's a mystery.

UFO and
OVNI Sightings
Correspond with the Ley Lines...
in Costa Rica

Physical aspects... of
UFOs, OVNI's, and other paranormal phenomena… lie
in the behavior of electromagnetic fields,
and
tectonic plates.
The only way that
such episodes can be engineered, so
that they remain total mysteries... is
for the hyper-dimensional entities... to have
advance knowledge of any situation,
before it occurs.
These hyper-dimensional entities... labor
to cultivate
belief… in various frames of reference,
(or through time
rift tears,,, in reality), and then
they create new manifestations which support
those beliefs. Illness is common… after close
contact
with some beings.
Guy Underwood… classified primary geomagnetic
currents
into three classes: water lines, aqua
stats, and (ley lines)
track lines. Some magnetic signals... appear as
spirals,
others are
linear.
Insects are highly affected... by electro-magnetic waves.
Gnats and flies…
congregate above magnetic patterns.
Locust or Grasshopper Swarms… are caused by
Solar
flares and geo-magnetic winds and storms.
Birds and Bats… use electro-magnetic waves
like radar.
